Class of 2021- Senior Photographer- Raleigh, NC

I wanted to do a few blog posts featuring some of the amazing Seniors graduating in 2021 this summer! This class persevered through the second half of their Junior year at home during a pandemic only to find out that the majority of their Senior year would be spent the same way. The class of 2021 had a high school experience like no other. They are probably the class that was most affected by this pandemic as your Junior and Senior year are some of the most memorable! All of the seniors that I have met this year have been nothing but positive and optimistic about their experiences and futures. I am so proud of them! I love being this class of 2021 senior photographer!

My first featured senior is this awesome girl. Meet Abbey! Class of 2021!  I had the pleasure of being Abbey’s 4th and 5th grade Spanish teacher back in the day when I first started teaching. She is, and always has been, such an amazing kid and a hard worker! You will also see a furry friend featured in this shoot…Abbey’s dog, Miller! 🙂

I was so excited when Abbey’s mom asked me to do these senior photos for her. Obviously, it was special for me to do these because I have seen her grow up, but I also just love capturing such an important time in someone’s life! Abbey is an active member of her Swim Team and LAX. She excels in school where she is her Senior class secretary and a member of the National Honors Society, English Honors Society and is graduating from the IB Program. She stays busy with her sports and many clubs, and while she is not involved in school she lifeguards and coaches swim team in the summer! Abbey will be attending UNC Chapel Hill where she plans to major in biology and continue on to become a speech pathologist! Wishing the best of luck to this amazing girl!

I had to throw in this photo from back in the day! Abbey left me this sweet note before 5th grade graduation and I kept it! Love her!
