“What day is it? ….. It’s October 3rd.” 🙂 A few years ago, our friends Stu and Annie got engaged & set their wedding date for October 3rd, 2020 (also known as Mean Girls day…hehe). Unknowingly scheduling their wedding for a date that would be during a global pandemic, Annie and Stu had big plans to be married with all of their family and friends here at the beautiful Shady Wagon Farms. Due to Covid-19, Annie and Stu decided to postpone their reception celebration to next year, but a pandemic was not going to stop these 2 from getting married! They went forward with their wedding ceremony, keeping it intimate with only immediate family. I am very close with Annie, and was even going to be a bridesmaid in this wedding, so I can tell you first hand how they handled this situation with 100% grace and love! Annie and Stu just wanted to get married, and that is exactly what they did. They were blessed with a beautiful fall day and the love of the most important people in their life to watch them commit their lives to one another. I was so honored that Annie asked me to photograph such a special day! I love Annie and Stu! They are some of the kindest and happiest people you will ever meet. They radiate love for each other and everyone around them. They are so silly together, and even incorporated a thumb war into their ceremony. This was SOOOO Annie and Stu. They lovingly call themselves “Stannie” and this became known as Stannie Wedding! Annie and Stu, we could not be more happy for you and your life together. Can’t wait to party and celebrate your FIRST ANNIVERSARY in 2021! (Covid FREE) 😉
