Newborn Lifestyle Photographer- Raleigh, NC

This was such a special newborn lifestyle session for me as I got to meet one of my best friend’s baby! Kate and I were beginning teachers together, and the days we spent in our first years of teaching were some of my favorite. She moved here from NY all by herself knowing no one in Raleigh, and we all became close friends that year…that was 7 years ago (wow…we are old…). I remember when these 2 first met and fell in love! I was honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding a few years ago, and now I am honored to photograph their growing family!

Sweet little Delilah is such a precious gift, and so loved. Her hair is my favorite, and also can we talk about her perfect name?! Such a little southern belle. Also, I have never seen a baby so comforted by their daddy! Seriously, Delilah could be crying and as soon as Dad held her, it was all better. Future Daddy’s girl!

Kate did an amazing job in the nursery creating a peaceful space for Delilah to grow. I loved all of the plants and the NC touches. It was such a fun surprise to see Aunt Meg at the house, so of course we incorporated her in to the shoot! Kate and Meg are the best sisters, and Meg is going to be such a fun and loving aunt for this baby girl. And, as one of her self-proclaimed “aunts”, I am so excited to love and spoil this kid! Aw, sweet Delilah, we all love you so much already!
