I was SO excited to hear from Sherrie about doing some family photos for this awesome family this fall! One of my most recent perks of this job is being able to see lots of my old students and their families again. I love keeping in touch with these great kiddos and seeing how they are doing! I taught Jake in 4th & 5th grade and Morgan in 1st-5th grade. I just missed Addie at our school by one year, and I really wish I had been able to teach all 3! These kids are the total package. BEAUTIFUL, polite, kind, generous, enthusiastic, and just over all amazing. One thing I specifically remember about Jake in my classroom was how polite and sweet he was, always saying “yes ma’am, no ma’am” and always caring for his little sis! Morgan’s smile is contagious and she is such a kind soul. I had the privilege of teaching her for 5 years, so I really got to see her grow up from a giggly sweet little girl to a beautiful and kind young lady. She wrote me the nicest letter at the end of the year before she graduated elementary school, and I still have it hanging up on my bulletin board (tear!). After getting to know their parents over the years, and seeing them again at this shoot, I can definitely tell where the kids get it from. They all have such a light about them and their positive spirits are contagious! I could have photographed them all day! We got perfect weather, and I got to photograph the perfect family! 🙂
