When my brother’s good friend, Joey, contacted me about photographing his surprise proposal to the love of his life I was so excited! I had never done one of these proposal photo sessions before and I am a sucker for a beautiful love story, so I said OF COURSE I WILL BE THERE! Thomas, my brother’s other great friend was also here, hiding in the trees with me waiting to congratulate the happy couple after they got engaged. Joey sent Justyne on an all morning scavenger hunt through all of the important places in their relationship in Raleigh, ending at the spot where they had their first kiss. This was one of the first times (not the first I am embarrassed to say…) that I have teared up behind the lens. So sweet. So thoughtful. So perfect. I am honored to have been a part of such a sweet and beautiful moment in Joey’s and Justyne’s life. I am so happy for you two, you will have an amazing future together!
