We were lucky enough to get a day to ourselves to explore a neighbor city that we never really get to see! Dan got a great job as an engineer at Duke Energy, so we decided to spend a day celebrating him and his great accomplishment! What better way to celebrate than to sample beer and food all around the awesome city of Durham?! We did not get that lucky with the weather, although the temperature was almost perfect. Dan and I decided to walk place to place, but got caught in the rain on the way back to the car! As we ran to our car in the torrential downpour, I was so happy and thankful to be married to such a fun, smart, and perfect guy. Who else would carry my camera bag under their coat and run .5 miles in the rain with me back to our car?! Enjoy the photos of our fun day in Durham. 🙂
