Emily was such a stunning and sweet bride! I knew I loved her and Philip when I met them earlier this year for their engagement photos. We had the perfect day with weather and they both were so happy and willing to try fun things for the photos! In June, Emily and I had scheduled a date for her bridal portraits. It started to rain during the day, so I called Emily and asked if she wanted to reschedule. She was already getting her hair done, so we decided to hope for sunshine! Well, it rained most of the shoot! As a future bride myself, I would have been very nervous about my dress, my hair, the photos, the rain, all of it! Not Emily! She was so calm, laughed about the rain with her cousin and sister as they held a coat over her head. She continued to ask me if I was ok in the rain and all I could think was, “Me!? You are in your wedding dress!”

That bridal shoot showed me just how great of a person Emily is! She is so positive and calm, I knew I would love to be her wedding day photographer 🙂 Of course, it is hard to take a bad picture of this stunning bride, so when the rain calmed down we got the beautiful shots we needed.
