Married love is the BEST. I absolutely love shooting anniversary sessions because they are so effortless and the love is so obvious between the couple. Hand holding. Sweet kisses for no reason. Dancing in the kitchen. Snuggling on the couch. Coffee chats at the table. All of the above are included in this beautiful anniversary session. Omar and Chelsey are high school sweethearts, best friends, and newlyweds! Their 1 year anniversary is on September 30th, and they had the idea to do an in-home lifestyle session for their 1st anniversary as their “paper” themed gift to one another. I thought this was an awesome and adorable idea. It was so sweet to witness and photograph such a strong married love. I also happen to be great friends with Omar and Chelsey, and can attest that their selfless love for one another shines every single day. It was such a special experience to be able to capture this on film! I also had the chance to shoot this session in hybrid digital/film, and I am so excited to share (See the film photos first on this post!). Omar and Chelsey baked some delicious blueberry muffins and made amazing coffee drinks that they also got to enjoy during our session. The fact that their house smelled like a bakery the entire time also did not hurt. Happy anniversary to these 2 amazing friends!
