I am used to hiking 8-10 miles every weekend and we have bee cooped up for a few days now. In the South, we don’t really know how to deal with winter weather….although after the past few years I am feeling like an expert. Dan and I got stuck this morning trying to leave our driveway to go to church and spent 30 minutes trying to get our car back in the driveway! Dan spent the next hour shoveling not our driveway, but the entire road so that we could get out. Cabin fever has set in and we are ready to take this winter weather into our own hands so we can get out and do something! I decided to take an afternoon hike and bring my camera. I am so glad I did, I only regret that everything was melting and I missed getting pictures of the beautiful frozen nature. It was so nice to breathe in the cold air and walk around for a while…Enjoy!
